Fun day with Britt

Nich put a scarf around our necks while we were doing something and we thought it'd be a good photo opp!
I got my dress from my parents, and Britt has hers here to get fitted so we put on each other's dresses!

We decided to have tea party's in our dresses after she's married! Otherwise you don't ever wear your wedding dress after the wedding. Pretty good idea I think...you all are welcome to join us!

Blown up slippers

For Christmas Britt bought me microwaveable slippers. I've been using them and they feel great! You just pop them in the microwave and they keep your feet really warm. Well, yesterday was really cold in our house and I decided to get them out to warm up while watching tv on the couch. I put them in for 3 min...and that was too long! I heard popping (still not sure what was in there) opened the microwave, took out my slippers and they were smoking. It made our house stink so bad! Luckily the smoke detectors didn't go off! I took them outside to air out and Britt said she could smell them when she came home last night -- outside! So...I blew up my slippers. :(

Long time...I know

It's been a LONG time since I posted and I'm sorry, but here's a couple pics to make up for it! :)

Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day! We put Hailey in daycare (we pay for it whether she's there or not!) and got started running errands and projects! We had a very productive day and here's proof...

Pics of our frame...thanks Mom and Grandma! This is what we spent our Christmas money on!

I couldn't get a good picture with the flash or without...The top pic shows the overall picture and the bottom shows more detail of the painting itself. We've had this painting since our honeymoon but it's finally framed and protected!

Nich and I built a shelving unit for our downstairs bathroom. We found scrap pieces of wood for the supports and Nich found a great deal on the white board which saved money and time painting! He even let me use the jig saw! :)

She's showing off an outfit Grandma and Grandpa brought for her. Tada! She's getting so big...we can hardly believe it! She's now eating on the bench instead of her highchair and doing a really good job!


And a pic for Meme! Remember those pants/bloomers from the dress! :) Hailey loves them and found a "matching" sweater. She wore that outfit for most of the day. She is definitely a fashion statement! And as you can see was very happy to find mommy and baby ducks!

Christmas's Galore!

Last weekend we had 3 Christmas's! Hailey was in heaven and pretty spoiled! :) We headed up to my parents Thursday and arrived around 6. They hadn't put up a Christmas tree so we got right to it! Hailey really enjoyed decorating a tree that was her size. She was a really good helper!

Everytime we go over to Nana & Papa's house Hailey has to wear her princess dress. We were all talking in the kitchen (on the other side of the wall from the tv) and didn't her any noises for awhile so we investigated and this is where we found her. She is her Daddy's daughter! Inches away from a 52" tv watching Higglytown Heros. :)

After the kiddo went to bed, and my brother got home we all played the Wii. The boys were having so much fun we had to start taking pictures and videos! The video was too long to post but hilarious of them playing tennis! Here's Dad, my brother Joe, his frind Justin and Nich. It's so funny to watch people play the Wii and not watching the screen!

Friday afternoon we headed over Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas with them. It was always tradition to spend Christmas Eve with them then have Christmas morning with my parents. We have a delicious dinner, open presents then the adults play card games. I love that tradition!

Hailey and I got matching aprons! Now we can bake cookies together, trust me I'll make sure to keep track of the ingredients...you don't want Hailey making them! :)


Grandma and Grandpa gave Hailey a mixer for Christmas and she played with it all night long. She was making cookies! Chip and pickle flavor...yum! Would you like a bite?!


Uncle Joe got her this really cool computer that she took everywhere with her. Yes...she is sitting on the potty playing the computer! It's a phonics one that she types the letter and it says the name and sound and shows an animal for each. She loves it and is still taking it everywhere! Good buy Joe!

Saturday night we headed over to Uncle John & Aunt Lisa's for our annual Maxwell Christmas party! Great food, fun, conversations and games! Here's a great family pic!

Continued Success!

Hailey's still doing great! We've had 2 days at day care accident free! She's so proud of herself too! Tonight she had 1 accident, but then later on told us she need to pee and sat on the potty until she went! She's still in pull-ups or diapers for nap and bedtime but has been dry for naps for the last couple days. If she's still going well, maybe we'll try panties for nap soon. We're so proud!! :)
