Today we had our 12 week ultrasound on the high resolution machine at U of M's Perinatal Assessment Center! Everything looks great! Each baby has good heartbeats (152-168) and measured about the same. Baby D was 12 weeks 1 day, A & C were 12 weeks 2 days, and B was 12 weeks 4 days. We learned none are identical, they're all in their own sac and have their own placenta which is healthier for them. The sonographer scanned for about 45 minutes and it was absolutely amazing to watch them all moving! She could've scanned all day and we just watched them playing! Baby C was definitely the most active - jumping then sliding back down. Just about the entire time!! Enjoy the pictures! Next ultrasound is July 30 (15.5 weeks) and a 2 hour one!!
Baby D on the left side. This one was the only one backwards. Can already see their personalities starting to show! You can see it's hand up by the face and feet bones on the right side.

Blessings x 4!!!! Absolutely amazing! I love that Hailey is showing her belly too. She is such a joy and always brings a smile. Congratulations. I think I'll have a bowl of ice cream with chocolate fudge to help you celebrate :)
so amazing!
Yay! I was hoping to find an update and even better, more pictures! I hope you're feeling well and gaining the necessary weight. :)
Jennie: My mom's comment - Look - they have noses and everything!!!
She adds: it looks great - hang in there....
Is that going to be an issue with the bottom one being squished??
When you have to pee you can blame baby D.
PS I learned Pop Tarts have a lot of calories... eat them when you want a snack!!
I find it SO amazing that they have distinct facial features now! Ah what little miracles :) You make me yearn to be pregnant again!
You are looking so good for 12 weeks! So good to hear that the babies are doing well and growing so well too! It will amaze me forever that you or anyone else can carry more than one baby at a time! Praying you can keep up eating 4500 calories a day!
